The task
Gzone has been running in the centre of Limassol since 2012. Players kept their hours, money and points in the club's system, but could only see them at a PC or at the desk. Booking meant a phone call, and the reservation page on the old site still said “Coming soon”. The owners wanted players to manage all of it from their phones, without a second system next to the one the club already runs on.
A site that answers first.
Prices, packs, arenas with their hardware, the game list, opening hours and the address — on one page, in English, Greek and Russian. Many of the players speak Russian, so the language is one tap away, not a separate site.
The page also introduces the app: what it will do and that it signs in with the account players already use at the club.

The club in your pocket.
The home screen reads like a banking app, only the balance is hours: time left, wallet, points, and two buttons — buy hours and scan to play. A player picks an arena and a seat for the evening, pays by card and sits down by scanning the QR code on the PC.
Everything runs on the club's own Gizmo system. Hours, bookings and payments stay there; the money goes straight to the club's Stripe account.

A reason to come back.
Every euro a player spends earns season XP. A season lasts three months and has 60 levels with rewards on the way: points, free hours, profile frames, drinks at the bar. A leaderboard for the season and the month shows who plays most.
XP comes only from paid time, not from promo hours, so the rewards go to real visits.

The PCs speak the same language.
The club's PCs run the Gizmo client, which used to look like any other club's. We restyled it in Gzone's colours: a huge PC number on the login screen and a “Sit down with the app” card with a QR code.
The club also has Lobby, a chat and voice server written by another developer. We built a new Lobby screen for the PCs in the style of the app and connected it to the app, so a message sent from a phone shows up at the club and the other way round.

One system, four parts.
Prices, arenas, games and hours in three languages.
